At Be Kind Equine, we offer more than just massages. We offer a complete formula focused on long term results.

An initial appointment starts with a static and dynamic evaluation of the horse. This is a way to find problematic areas and what to focus on during the massage. The horse is evaluated at the 3 gaits and standing still. During a follow-up appointment, the dynamic evaluation is shorter to focus on the massage, but the static evaluation stays the same.

Here are some things observed during the evaluation: muscle tension, locomotion, range of motion, compensation patterns, swelling, posture, conformation and much more.

The horse then receives a massage personalized to their needs. Many techniques may be used to maximize the benefits for your horse like: sports massage, relaxation massage, stretching, joint mobilization, myofascial release, lymphatic massage, etc.

The use of red light therapy and cupping is included with every appointment. Some horses need a bit more than just massage  and these additional therapies are excellent ways to help!

Taping can also be added to any appointment for an additional cost.

Every massage comes with a session report that highlights the main problems found. It also includes recommendations if needed and a list of exercises to do. These exercises are personalized to your horse’s needs and allows you to be an integral part of the process. They are a way to continue progress in between appointments.
