About me

Hi, I’m Noah! (they/them) The owner of Be Kind Equine

  • I have been riding for more than 10 years. I mostly rode english but had some western lessons as well

  • I went to Olds College to become an equine bodyworker. After 400+ hours of class and a field placement, I earned my certification in 2024!

  • I would like to specialize myself in myofascial release, biomechanics and rehabilitation. They are my favourite subjects related to equine massage and I dream of working at or opening my own rehab center

  • I am also someone really interested in behavioural sciences, equine welfare, positive reinforcement and cooperative care training

  • I am also implicated in the dog community! I’ve worked in various parts of the industry as a groomer’s assistant, dog walker, trainer, in a pet store and I currently work in a vet clinic as a receptionist. I also show dogs and compete in rally-o with my dog

Zoë is my golden retriever, she’s been my partner since 2019. She loves swimming, sunbathing, going on long sniff walks and coming to the barn with me when she can!

About Be Kind Equine

Be Kind Equine was created in the hopes of ameliorating equine welfare through massage and education.

I chose the name Be Kind Equine because I believe in a world where we are kinder to horses. Where we are considerate and respectful of their needs, emotions and boundaries. Educating equestrians is a key part in this process. That is why I want to spread knowledge on equine welfare through BKE on top of providing bodywork.

BKE believes in fostering a community based on inclusion and education.

I think that by empowering equestrians with knowledge, we can reduce their feeling of hopelessness when it comes to the health of their horse.

Transparency ~ Quality ~ Education
