Here are some pointers to prepare yourself and your horse for a massage!
Before the appointment:
Schedule the appointment at a quiet time of the day
Plan the location of the appointment
The horse will need to be lunged for the dynamic assessment
The location needs to be clean and spacious
Fill out and send required forms maximum 48 hours before the appointment
Note any questions you have
The day of the appointment:
Notify me of any change in your horse’s health
Clean and dry your horse. This includes the legs
Avoid using any products like fly-spray or show sheen if possible
During the appointment:
Minimize your interactions with your horse like petting or giving treats during the massage
Do not hesitate to ask me any questions during the appointment!
